2 Cards w/ "Taste of Summer" Paper & Stamp

Here are a couple of cards I made using the TASTE OF SUMMER Paper Pack & the coordinating Stamp Set.  This is a Special Paper Pack you can only purchase during the Month of MAY - at the special price of just $8.95. The Card on the Left has Directions below.  The Card on the right is cut using the CTMH Artfully Sent Cartridge.  These Cards are GREAT because you can cut them ANY SIZE.  This one is cut to fit in an A2 Envelope.

This is the Scoring Guide

Step 1.  
Score the Honey Card Stock across the long side.  Starting from the Left - Score @ 1/2",  2",  4",  5 1/2" Fold on Scorelines.

Step 1b. 

Adhere 1 Purple 4" x 5 1/4" to (un-scored side) of Honey.  Then attach Green Lemon Paper on top of that.  The other Purple and the 3 3/4" x 5" White piece will go on the back of the card.

Step 3.  

Put adhesive on the small tab and lay the card flat as shown to attach it in the correct spot of the Green lemon piece.

Step 4.  

Adhere Yellow striped 1 3/4" x 4" piece to the card as shown and put adhesive on just the LEFT side (3" part) of the purple.  Attach it on top of Yellow Striped lining up the bottom of the card and centering it.  Put adhesive on the small tab.

Step 5.  

Lay the Card flat as shown to attach it in the correct spot.

Step 6.  

The card is ready to decorate.

I used the Cricut to cut out the Words on the front of the card and used the coordinating Stamp set to Stamp the Lemons.  Then I used Clear Embossing Powder over the top, cut them out and used Pop Dots to attach.

The Back of the Card is decorated using B1452 Funky Blossoms and Inks Honey, Gypsy, and Juniper.

Wedding Shower Card

A FREE Cricut Design Space File - Wedding Shower Card

I saw this Card on Pinterest and wanted to make a Design Space File for it.  All of the cuts are FREE Images.  I embossed the back White Layer with the CTMH Heart Embossing Folder Z3018 and the Towels with a Stampin Up Embossing Folder (email me for more details).  I used a green Pilot Precise V5 Pen for the lettering, although the font is a little different on the "Mr. & Mrs." in this file, so it could be shared. Please let me know if you encounter any cutting problems in Design Space with the file.  Note:  Be sure to watch when to insert the Score Tool and the Pen.  They tend to sneak up on you!

My First Card using my iPad! YIPPEE! LOVE IT!

I am going to LOVE this whole iPad creating!!! Oh Yeah!!!!

Can I just say I'm going to LOVE using my iPad Air with my Cricut Explore!  This is one of the first cards I made from the Make It Now collection in Cricut Design Space.  It turned out sooo pretty...and they go OH SO FAST!  I've already made 6 of them.  I realized that this card is actually a combination of two different cards and there is a fee. 
Sorry about that!

This one I made a little larger by selecting the entire file (Select ALL) and dragging it to the size I wanted, then cut it with this awesome shimmer paper I found at Michaels.  I added some extra greenery - but really about anything you do to this card will be beautiful!  You do NOT need an iPad to make this project.  Just look for it in the Make It Now Projects!

...and then there was Valentines Day!!!! 

These pictures are horribly late - but none-the-less - here are a couple of things I made for Valentines day.

 


The Gift Bags were from Wal-Mart and I simply made the Tags using the Cricut to match the Bags.  I thought they added a nice personalized touch. If you need more info on the cuts, just send me a quick email and I'll try to figure out which ones I used! :-)

The Favors were for my Granddaughter to take to Preschool.  I thought about cutting the Mason Jars w/ the Cricut Explore Print then Cut, but really it worked best to just print them on white card stock and cut a hole in the center.  I did back of the "jar" with a piece of acetate so the candy oils wouldn't leak through.  The jars fit nicely into those plastic jewelry bags you can pick up about anywhere. Tuck in a few Gummy Worms and Wallah! I put a piece of double sided tape at the top back of the bag so the worms wouldn't escape. I will include the jpeg if anyone wants to try these.  They are super easy and go together really quickly.  I think I used the little 3" x 4" bags.

What a day!!!

Truly a 5 minute project!!!

After seeing her Mommy's pencils for school, my Granddaughter decided she needed some for her preschool class for Halloween.  The pencils were already made, so I took an empty Puffs canister (I KNEW that would come in handy someday) and cut out a black vinyl spider web and "Boo" in Cricut Design space (about 3.5") and stuck them on.  The canister turned out to be the perfect size for just a few pencils!  She's awfully excited to hand them out to her classmates tomorrow!

Some Halloween Pencil Favors for your Classroom of Goblins!

Any kid would love to get one of these silly Halloween Pencils this year!
Items used:

CTMH Scaredy Cat Paper Pack X7185B
Colonial White Card Stock or similar 1388
ShinHan Markers or colored pencils
Cricut ARTISTE Cartridge Z1790
   Cuts:  pg. 62 "X", Accent 2, (Real Dial Size OFF)
            1.75",   2",  and  2.25"
Stamps:  CTMH Frightfully Fun B1453
              CTMH Trick or Treat Sweats B1460
Other:  Pencils, Glue Dots, and Googly Eyes

Cut the 3 sizes of the Accent 2.  The smallest will be with Colonial White for stamping. Use the printed papers for the middle layer and the back layer.  Have fun coloring in the images however you choose - and simply stack the shapes and glue them together. Add googly eyes if you wish and that's it!  I used glue dots to attach them to the pencils.

Haunted House Card using CTMH Artfully Sent

Create a Spooky Haunted House Card using 

CTMH Artfully Sent...

 

For the Slate colored Base on this Haunted House Card - I cut the "Sleeve + Shift" at 7" (Real Dial Size OFF) from pg. 43 of the Artfully Sent Handbook.  The Haunted House is from pg. 44 - continue at 7"(Real Dial Size OFF) using "Scene" (no shift).  You'll want to trim your card in half and save the solid piece of Slate for your scraps.  I paper pieced th window and door pieces to the back side of the house then attached it to the inside of the card.  I then cut the Spider from page 43 using "Icon" + Shift.  He was cut at 4" (Real Dial Size OFF). To finish the Card, I attached little googly eyes to the spider and used CTMH Stamp Set Frightfully Fun B1453 around the front frame of the card.  This Card was SO Fast to put together and I think it turned out pretty cute!

Most of the cuts on this card are from the CTMH Artfully Sent Cartridge.  The finished Card Measures 4.25" x 5.5" and it has 3 Tags: 1 plain, 1 "Boo To You" and 1 "Happy Halloween" Using the Writing option in Cricut Explore - Select your favorite!  The base can be cut on a 6" x 9" piece of Card Stock.
